TO ALL WHO COME TO THIS HAPPY PLACE…WELCOME!

I have been a Disney fan for as long as I can remember. My first trip to Walt Disney World was at the age of 5 when we moved to Florida from Ohio. I visited often throughout my childhood growing up in Florida. I bought my first annual pass to Walt Disney World back in 1999 and have been coming ever since. Even when I spent 16 years in Washington, D.C. and Boston, MA, I still visited the parks at least four times a year.

I moved back to Orlando, FL in 2018 and have become a constant park goer. I typically go two to three times a week as I live only a short distance to the parks (about 20 minutes away). In addition to regular visits to Walt Disney World, I have visited Disneyland, competed in a few Disney Run races, and am Gold Level on the Disney Cruiseline.

I’ve been asked repeatedly by friends to start a Disney dedicated blog so here we are. My blog, Instagram, and YouTube channel will feature Disney tips and tricks, reviews, trip reports/vlogs and more! As a single, gay man, with no children, I will also focus on the childless, LGBTQ+ side of visiting Walt Disney World. In addition to regular Disney content, I will share travel information beyond Disney. I travel on adventures pretty regularly throughout my home state of Florida, so I will also be sharing content related to traveling in Florida beyond Disney.
But wait…why the flamingo? I believe in spreading kindness, being your most authentic self, finding balance, being flexible, standing out in the crowd and the color pink. I’m basically a flamingo! That’s probably why my spirit animal is the flamingo. Flamingos represent a more vibrant, outgoing, well balanced and resourceful life. Flamingos also represent my favorite color, pink! Pink is a peaceful, charming hue that resonates with harmony, friendship, openness, tenderness and a smattering of romance. All traits that I hope I embody in my relationships with others. The pink flamingo represents serenity and a contented life.
